A week ago, we recapped the past year. And what is in store for us in the Maps and Internet Commission this year❓ - First of all, we are looking forward to the International Cartographic Conference in Cape Town. We already have many submissions to our commission. We are also preparing the traditional pre-conference workshop (in collaboration with the Commission on Ubiquitous Mapping) and a business meeting during the conference. And, of course, we are looking forward to lots of informal meetings and discussionsπ«±π«². - We can also promise regular updates about the world of maps and the Internet on our communication channels (social networks, blog, ICA newsletter, commission newsletter, Discord). - In the spring, we plan a video challenge, "The different faces of web cartography". - And there will certainly be many other events, conferences, workshops, webinars or hackathons that we will keep you posted on.
